Standing on top of the world

Introduction

The tweetchat this week will take place on Tuesday 6th January between 8:00pm and 9:00pm and will be hosted by JDRF UK (@JDRFUK).

The @OurDiabetes account will be retweeting their questions to ensure you know when to respond but if you aren’t already following @JDRFUK maybe now is the time to start… and here’s why…

About JDRF UK

In 2014 JDRF took the largest team of people, 19 in total – living with type 1 – ever to Kilimanjaro. With any trip like this there are were factors that can affect peoples blood sugar levels. JDRF wanted to chat with the type 1 community to see what adventures you have been on since your diagnoses, how/if your levels were affected and how you managed them. In June 2015 JDRF will be taking another team of people living with type 1 to the summit of Kilimanjaro and they’d love for you to join them, take a look at their website to find out more. https://www.jdrf.org.uk/get-involved/join-in-an-event/treks/jdrf-climb-kilimanjaro
